MacDonald's Winehouse Collection
Fashion luvvies we ain't, but news that Amy Winehouse is set to wear the top gown for Julien MacDonald during London Fashion Week later this year has aroused some serious interest from the Glitterditch camp.
"She's an incredible person who's unique and has great style." MacDonald told The Metro.
We guess the Welsh designer's interpretation of 'elegantly wasted' is fairly bang on the money then. He must be holding high hopes that old Wineglass can lay off the jazz fags long enough to do the highlight of his collection justice. (And make it to the end of the catwalk and back without mishap.)
Previously MacDonald has used such luminaries of the celeb world as Paris Hilton and the tempestuous Naomi Campbell. And now Amy's next. She might fall off the wagon with unfailing regularity, but she's undeniably the woman of the moment with a grade A talent to boot, and that's just what MacDonald is after.
Although if sky-high beehives and blood-spattered ballet slippers become mandatory after her stint on the runway, then God help us all.
